Welcome to Team de Lancey Real Estate! Jim and Deb de Lancey make up Team de Lancey Real Estate and have been working in the real estate industry a combined total of 24+ years. They have been married 25 years and look forward to the next 25 years together.

Jim started his real estate career in Southern California back in the late 1980’s working part time in the industry for 4 years. Deb started hers in Reno, Nevada in 2001 starting her career in new home sales and in 2010 went into the resale market. Though they started their careers independently of each other, it wasn’t long before they decided to join forces to create and become Team de Lancey Real Estate.

Jim says “it just made sense to become a husband/wife team. This has allowed us to become a force in the local real estate market by offering our clients two licensed agents for the price of on. We care deeply for both our buyer and seller clients, and though our priority is to successfully close escrow with these clients in a timely manner, the bigger long-term picture for us to retain these clients as friends and family for many years to come.”

Jim and Deb are full-time agents who are extremely involved within the community as well as in the real estate community all over the United States. Jim and Deb donate their time locally with Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Northern Nevada as well and our local Children’s Miracle Network. Other organizations that Jim and Deb are involved in is The Northern Nevada Humane Society and the Canine Rehabilitation Center and Sanctuary of Northern Nevada (CRCS). “For us it’s all about the kids and the animals” says Jim.

Both Jim and Deb have also earned their Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designations with Deb being a past President in 2015 for the Sierra Nevada Chapter. The CRS designation is a very prestigious affiliation as only 4% of agents worldwide have earned this designation. Both have also been named independently “Top Ten Real Estate Agents for 2018.” Deb has also earned her Lifetime Achievement Award for earning 1 million dollars in commissions in her career.

When Jim and Deb are not selling real estate, they love to travel, go to the gym, work in the garden with our Japanese Koi pond, golf or read a good book. One saying that Jim and Deb love to live by is that “ If you aren’t laughing and enjoying life, then you just aren’t living…” Deb considers them extremely lucky to have each other and to work together in the real estate industry. She says “it’s so rewarding to assist our clients with all of their real estate needs as a team. “Lucky is an understatement…”

Jim and Deb are also proud parents of three 4-legged “fur-kids”. Jo Bangles is their Miniature Pincher and Bella and Jules are their two cats. Jim also considers his 74 Japanese Koi and 5 turtle’s part of the family as well.
